Website & Production Inquiry Terms
Last Updated: August 17, 2026
Owner and legal approval required: The production-policy language on this page is a working draft for website and inquiry context. It must receive final owner and qualified legal review before it is treated as operative project terms. It does not create a warranty, liability limit, risk-of-loss rule, or remedy.
1. Scope of These Terms
These terms govern use of this website, including its public pages and production quote form. By using the site, you agree not to misuse it and to follow applicable law.
These website terms do not establish the commercial terms of a sign-production project. Any accepted project requires its own approved written agreement from the responsible parties. Until final owner and legal approval is complete, the production-policy passages below remain draft guidance.
2. Website Information
The site contains general information about sign production, banners, decals, graphics, fabrication, artwork preparation, materials, packaging, and installer handoff. Historical projects and educational pages may discuss installation, but those references are not current installation offers. The site is intended to help a reader ask better production questions; it is not a project specification, field measurement, engineering instruction, permit determination, mounting design, safety plan, or professional legal advice.
Product and service pages can describe possible approaches, including:
- Rigid, dimensional, painted, printed, and temporary sign formats
- Banners, decals, lettering, displays, and wayfinding components
- Artwork, material, cutting, finishing, assembly, packaging, and installer-handoff considerations
Actual production capability, material suitability, specifications, pricing, timing, packaging, and any pickup, delivery, or shipping option must be confirmed in an approved written production estimate. The site does not promise availability.
3. Inquiries Are Not Orders
3.1 Form Submissions
Sending a form, message, artwork file, drawing, photograph, specification, or reference does not create an order, guarantee a response, reserve production capacity, confirm a needed date, approve a specification, or promise pickup, delivery, or shipping.
3.2 Project-Specific Terms
If an inquiry moves forward, the written quote, scope, proof or approval record, invoice, and any signed agreement should identify the terms that apply. Those project documents—not this general website page—should address items such as:
- Responsible parties, deliverables, quantities, dimensions, materials, and exclusions
- Pricing, taxes, deposits, payment methods, quote validity, and change orders
- Proofing, approvals, production tolerances, color references, schedule dependencies, packaging, and any agreed fulfillment or handoff
- Cancellations, returns, reported defects, any approved warranty, ownership, risk allocation, and permitted portfolio use
3.3 No Published Commercial Defaults
The website does not establish a default deposit, payment method, turnaround, rush option, cancellation window, return period, warranty, pickup option, delivery area, shipping term, risk-of-loss rule, liability allocation, or venue for disputes.
4. Submitting Artwork and Project Information
4.1 Customer-Provided Artwork
Submit only material you are authorized to share and use for the requested purpose. Before uploading, check that artwork and project information are:
- Lawful and free of malware or harmful code
- Within your rights to reproduce, modify, and provide to relevant project participants
- Accurate as to names, addresses, contact details, directions, quantities, and other supplied content
- Limited to information reasonably needed for the inquiry
See the Artwork Setup Guide for handoff guidance. Actual file, bleed, color, cut-path, proof, and output specifications depend on the selected project.
4.2 Customer-Provided Dimensions and Specifications
The customer or qualified installer must provide and approve final field dimensions, site verification, mounting design, hole or stud locations, structural suitability, electrical decisions, permits, code compliance, access planning, and installation requirements. Photographs, samples, and approximate dimensions can support an inquiry but do not replace verified final specifications.
A production estimate should identify which customer-supplied dimensions, drawings, schedules, artwork, samples, and assumptions the shop may rely on. Any measurement tolerance, fit requirement, replacement-part match, or installer-handoff detail that is critical to the order must be approved in writing before production.
4.3 Proofs and Approval
This website does not promise a particular proofing process. If a project includes proofs or approvals, the approved project documents should identify what is being approved, who may approve it, how changes are recorded, and what production may rely on. Approval may need to cover copy, quantity, dimensions, material, thickness, sidedness, color references, finish, cut paths, mounting holes, component labels, and packaging.
4.4 Production Tolerances and Color Variation
Printing, cutting, routing, fabrication, assembly, and finishing can involve production tolerances that depend on the material and process. Screen displays, digital proofs, physical samples, inks, paints, substrates, finishes, and lighting can also show color differently. A project with critical fit, registration, finish, or color should define references, measurable tolerances, sampling, and approval steps in the approved written project documents. This website does not establish a universal tolerance or exact-color promise.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Customer Materials
You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit and request use of artwork, logos, photographs, copy, fonts, trademarks, and other material. Submission gives the recipients involved in reviewing the inquiry permission to access and evaluate the material for that purpose; it does not by itself transfer ownership.
5.2 Website Materials
Site text, code, graphics, and media may be protected by copyright, trademark, license, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Access to a public page does not grant permission to copy site materials for commercial reuse. Factual project names and third-party marks remain associated with their respective owners.
5.3 Project Design and Portfolio Rights
Ownership of design files, editable source, fabrication files, photographs, and finished-work images must be stated in the applicable project agreement. Submitting an inquiry does not grant public portfolio, testimonial, endorsement, or marketing rights.
6. Production, Fulfillment, and Installer Handoff
6.1 Timeline
Any schedule must be stated in approved project documents and can depend on complete specifications, verified customer-supplied dimensions, artwork, proof approvals, material availability, outside production steps, and other scope-specific conditions. A needed date entered on a form is planning information, not a promised completion date.
6.2 Requested Pickup, Delivery, or Shipping
Pickup, delivery, and shipping entries on a form are requested preferences only. Availability, cost, packaging, carrier, handoff point, inspection, claims procedures, and any risk allocation must be stated in owner- and legal-approved written project terms. This website does not publish or imply a default fulfillment option or risk-of-loss policy.
6.3 Production-Only Scope
LA Prime Signs does not provide site surveys, field measurements, installation labor or scheduling, permit handling, structural engineering, electrical work, on-site consultation or troubleshooting, repairs or maintenance, lift or access coordination, or installation warranties. Final field dimensions, site verification, mounting design, structural suitability, electrical decisions, permits, code compliance, access, and installation remain the customer’s or qualified installer’s responsibility.
Patterns, mounting-hole layouts, labeled components, requested hardware, assembly notes, or installer-ready packaging are included only if specifically accepted in an approved written production estimate. Supplying one of those production items does not verify field conditions or transfer installation, structural, electrical, permitting, or code responsibility to the production shop.
6.4 Inspection and Post-Handoff Conditions
The approved project documents should identify the handoff point, packaging, inspection steps, handling instructions, and the process for reporting a production concern. Customers and installers should compare the finished order with approved artwork and specifications before alteration or installation. Any allocation of responsibility for storage, handling, transport, site conditions, alteration, or damage after handoff requires final owner and legal approval in the written project agreement; this website does not create that allocation.
7. Changes, Cancellations, Defects, and Warranties
7.1 Changes and Cancellations
Custom work can involve file preparation, ordered material, production steps, outside services, packaging, or completed labor. Any right to change or cancel, and the resulting cost or refund, must come from owner- and legal-approved written project terms and applicable law.
7.2 Inspection and Reported Problems
The approved project documents should identify production completion or handoff, inspection responsibilities, how to report a claimed problem, what evidence is needed, and which party handles carrier, handling, or site damage. This website does not establish a universal return period, claim period, remedy, or post-handoff liability allocation.
- Record packaging and visible condition at receipt when delivery is involved.
- Do not install or alter an item if doing so could obscure the condition being reported.
- Keep approved artwork, customer-supplied dimensions, specifications, photographs, and written scope available for comparison.
7.3 Warranty
No warranty duration, coverage, exclusion, or remedy is promised by this website. Any warranty or manufacturer coverage requires final owner and legal approval and must be stated in the applicable written project documents. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
8. Website Availability and General Guidance
The website is provided for general information and inquiry routing. It may be changed, interrupted, contain an error, or describe an approach that is unsuitable for a particular material, building, vehicle, site, jurisdiction, or intended use.
- Verify final dimensions, site conditions, loads, attachments, electrical conditions, access, code, property criteria, and safety requirements with the responsible qualified installer, engineer, electrician, permitting authority, or other professional as applicable.
- Review manufacturer instructions and current official requirements before acting on technical or regulatory information.
- Do not rely on a portfolio image, note, product page, or form response as proof that the same scope is available or suitable for your project.
Project liability, remedies, warranties, risk allocation, and post-handoff responsibility are not set by this page. They require final owner and legal approval in the applicable written agreement and remain subject to rights and limits imposed by law.
9. Acceptable Use
Do not use the website or its forms to:
- Submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious material
- Upload malware, probe security, bypass rate limits, interfere with service, or automate abusive submissions
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent authority to approve artwork or a project
- Collect, scrape, reproduce, or republish site content in violation of applicable rights or law
Submissions that threaten the site, recipients, or others may be blocked, preserved, or reported as permitted by law.
10. Questions and Disputes
Use the Contact page to raise a question about the website or identify the project communication involved. A project-specific agreement may provide its own notice and dispute process.
This page does not select a court, county, arbitration provider, governing law, or waiver of statutory rights. Applicable law and any valid written agreement determine those issues.
11. Miscellaneous
11.1 Changes to the Website Terms
These website terms may be revised when site features, submission handling, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current published version.
11.2 Third-Party Resources
Links to outside agencies, manufacturers, standards organizations, or other resources are provided for context. Their content, availability, and terms are controlled by those third parties.
11.3 Severability
If a provision of these website terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to the extent permitted by law.
11.4 Project Agreements Control
If these website terms conflict with a valid written project agreement between the responsible parties, the project agreement controls for that project.
12. Contact Information
For a question about these website terms, use the Contact page and identify the page, form, or project communication involved.
