Custom Sign Production FAQ

You can ask about printed signs and panels, banners, decals, window or wall graphics, dimensional components, wayfinding components, painted work, finishing, assembly, labeling, packaging, and other production shown on this site. The requested product, quantity, material, artwork, finish, and handoff requirements are reviewed before fit is confirmed in writing.

LA Prime Signs prints, cuts, routes, fabricates, paints, finishes, assembles, labels, packages, and prepares approved sign products or components within the written production scope. Site surveys, field measurements, installation labor or scheduling, permit handling, structural engineering, electrical work, on-site consultation, access coordination, repairs, maintenance, and installation warranties are not offered.

The customer or qualified installer supplies and approves the final field dimensions used for production. Drawings, photographs, mockups, and existing-piece measurements can help explain the request, but LA Prime Signs does not survey the site, take field measurements, or verify that an ordered product will fit the intended location.

Installation is handled by the customer or a qualified third-party installer. LA Prime Signs does not perform installation labor or schedule installers. The customer or installer remains responsible for site verification, mounting design, structural suitability, electrical decisions, permits, code compliance, access, and safe installation.

Send the product type, quantity, customer-approved finished dimensions, sides, intended use, material or thickness if known, print, paint, cut, routing, assembly or finishing needs, artwork, color references, special tolerances, packaging needs, and requested date. Installer-approved drawings or mounting details can be included when they affect how a component must be produced.

Vector PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG files are useful starting points for logos, lettering, and cut geometry. High-resolution TIFF, PSD, PNG, or JPG files may work for image-based output. Include the approved finished dimensions or exact document scale, fonts or outlined text, linked assets, color references, sides, versions, bleed, and separate cut paths when relevant. Product-specific requirements must be confirmed before production.

Send the strongest source files, approved copy, dimensions, brand references, and a visual reference you have. Availability, scope, and cost for design, file rebuilding, or prepress work beyond production file checks must be confirmed in the written quote before work begins; it is not included automatically.

The customer approves copy, spelling, layout, versions, orientation, colors, rights, finished dimensions, and the identified production file. Production preflight checks file mechanics against the written specification, such as scale, links, fonts, image quality, bleed, cut paths, and separations. Preflight does not approve business facts, determine field dimensions, or verify site fit.

No production process, screen preview, ink, paint, film, substrate, finish, or lighting condition should be treated as an automatic exact match. Provide current color references and physical samples when relevant. The target, proof method if available, viewing conditions, and acceptable production tolerances must be agreed in writing for color-critical or dimension-critical work.

Availability is project-specific and must be confirmed in the written production quote. When included, patterns, templates, or hardware are prepared from customer- or installer-approved dimensions and specifications. Their inclusion does not transfer responsibility for field verification, mounting design, structural suitability, code compliance, or installation to LA Prime Signs.

To ask whether a replacement can be produced, send the strongest original artwork, customer-approved exact dimensions, material and thickness if known, face and edge details, finish and color references, quantity, hole or pattern locations, drawings, and clear photographs or an available sample. Matching and production feasibility are reviewed from those inputs; field diagnosis and field measurement are not provided.

A production specification defines what the shop will make: approved dimensions, material, thickness, artwork, color target, finish, cut or routing details, holes, quantities, versions, labels, packaging, and agreed tolerances. Field decisions determine whether and how it can be installed at the site, including measurements, substrate condition, mounting design, loads, structure, electrical work, permits, code, access, and installation method. Field decisions belong to the customer and qualified professionals.

Those field and regulatory responsibilities remain with the customer and the qualified installer, engineer, electrician, property representative, or code professional the project requires. LA Prime Signs does not file permits, provide structural engineering or electrical work, or determine site code compliance.

Availability, destination limits, timing, cost, packaging, transfer of responsibility, and damage terms for pickup, delivery, or shipping must be confirmed in the project-specific written quote. This site does not make a universal fulfillment promise.

Trade-order availability, account terms, pricing, and production scope must be confirmed for each inquiry; they are not promised universally. Another sign company, contractor, or installer can send the required production specifications through the project form or identify the inquiry as trade or installer-related on the contact page.

Price and scheduling depend on the approved dimensions, quantity, material, artwork readiness, production methods, finishing, tolerances, packaging, and other written scope. Share a real needed date, but do not assume a published lead time, rush slot, minimum order, price, or completion date until it appears in the project-specific quote.

The request is reviewed for product fit and the dimensions, artwork, materials, finish, tolerances, quantities, packaging, and responsibility decisions needed to define a production scope. A follow-up may request missing files or specifications. Form submission alone does not approve artwork, start production, or promise a response or completion time.
